DEEPER DIVE IN FILLERS…

HYALURONIC ACID FOR ACNE, LIP FILLER, AND MORE

A naturally occurring sugar substance, hyaluronic acid (HA) is already found in the skin. HA injections are dermal fillers that add more hydration under the skin for plump results.

Patients can expect to enjoy extra volume in their faces for 6-12+ months with hyaluronic acid treatments.

RESTYLANE® & JUVÉDERM® IN THE TWIN CITIES

HA is widely regarded as the most popular choice because it uses natural ingredients and is dissolvable should you wish to reverse the treatment. As a natural substance in the body, HA delivers nutrients, helps the skin retain moisture and softness, and adds volume.

At Hush of Aesthetics, we offer both Restylane and Juvéderm fillers. Each product in the Juvéderm Collection of Fillers is made from a modified form of HA. All Restylane products are transparent hyaluronic acids, sugars naturally found in the skin that help provide hydration, fullness, and elasticity.

From fine line correction to deep wrinkle reversal, let’s look at the ingredients and uses for the best face fillers.

Juvéderm Products

Designed to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, Juvéderm products all contain hyaluronic acid. Voluma, Volbella, and Vollure each have different amounts of HA. This allows injection specialists to be precise in their treatments.

Juvéderm products can work together or separately to target specific areas of the face, such as:

JUVÉDERM XC:

Useful for midface volume correction, this filler treats parentheses lines around the nose and mouth.

JUVÉDERM ULTRA XC:

As the next level of Juvéderm ® XC, this formula fills and plumps lips and more severe parentheses lines.

JUVÉDERM VOLLURE XC:

The formula in Vollure is excellent for treating the folds between your nose and mouth (nasolabial folds). It corrects deeper problem areas without restricting facial movement. Vollure is lighter than Voluma but fuller than Volbella.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA XC:

As a softer, more subtle option, Volbella is great for plumping thin lips and undoing the appearance of fine lines. It’s also very useful for refreshing the areas under the eyes.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC:

It’s normal to lose volume in the cheek area from both age and illness. Voluma helps to bring back that plumpness for a fuller look.

JUVEDERM VOLUX XC:

indicated for the chin. Best for defining the chin area and jawline for a sculpted and enhanced contour.

The XC in Juvéderm XC indicates that the injection also contains lidocaine. This helps to numb the area for a more comfortable experience.

SKINVIVE BY JUVÉDERM

SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® helps the skin retain its natural moisture and softness leading to an improvement in the skin smoothness of the cheeks.

In clinical studies, patients who were treated with SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM also reported high satisfaction with how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked through 6 months.

Adding droplets of moisture into the dermis of the skin for smooth, glowing skin.

RESTYLANE PRODUCTS

Each product in the Restylane line of fillers contains a different particle size. The size differences allow our aesthetic injectors to treat various lost elasticity and volume stages.

  • RESTYLANE:

Another formulation with hyaluronic acid, Restylane also acts like your body’s natural HA to correct wrinkles and folds. Restylane often is used in the lips, and tear trough (under eyes)

  • RESTYLANE KYSSE:

Lips lose volume and elasticity over time, which Restylane Kysse helps reverse. This formula adds volume and smoothness to lips to minimize lip wrinkles, plus it enhances the natural color of your lips, which can also fade with age.

  • RESTYLANE CONTOUR:

This cheek filler helps patients achieve the contour and curves of implants without surgery.

  • RESTYLANE DEFYNE:

The chin can recede towards the neck as we age. Restylane Defyne helps overcome this by correcting deep lines and wrinkles and improving chin projection.

  • RESTYLANE LYFT:

Patients hoping to address wrinkles in their hands and faces will often choose Restylane Lyft. Your aesthetic injector can treat the cheeks, midface, and back of the hands within the same appointment to complete your rejuvenation.

COMBINING DERMAL FILLERS AND BOTOX

A lot of people think injectable botulinum toxins like Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau are fillers, but they work in an entirely different way: while fillers add volume, neurotoxins like Botox relax muscles to smooth lines, wrinkles, and creases (and prevent more from forming).

Botox is FDA-approved to treat crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines and can be paired with fillers during the same appointment for optimal facial rejuvenation results. During your consultation, discuss your aesthetic goals with your provider to see which treatment is a better option.

Some patients combine filler treatment with Botox to achieve a “liquid facelift”. Together, each treatment will target problem areas and reverse them for an all-around enhancement.
